OPTIMAL CHARGING PROFILE provides the correct charging profile (charge voltage and current) to safely charge your Rebelcell 24V battery.
STARTER BATTERY DISCHARGE PROTECTION continuously monitors the voltage in the starter battery and will only allow charging of the 24V battery if starter batter voltage is above 13.2V. This ensures that the starter battery is not accidentally discharged.
OVERCHARGE PROTECTION will automatically adjust the alternator output charge current to avoid overcharging of your battery.
TEMPERATURE PROTECTION the ‘dynamic thermal output control’ limits the charge current to reduce the temperature.
SHORT CIRCUIT / REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION automatic shutdown with short circuit. Reverse polarity protection on input .
CHARGE INDICATOR if the LED on the Range Extender is ‘ON’ your battery is being charged.

NEW! model 2022 The Range Extender (model 29.4V7A) allows you to extend your fishing day by recharging your Rebelcell 24V AV battery ‘on the go’ via the alternator of your (outboard) engine.
The Range Extender continuously monitors the voltage in the starter battery to prevent accidental discharge, limits the alternator current if required and provides the correct charging profile (voltage, current) to safely charge your 24V battery. Thanks to the built-in charge indicator you can easily see if your battery is being charged.

PLEASE REVIEW THE BELOW INFORMATION BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR ORDER
- The Range Extender is suitable for use with (outboard) engines that meet the minimum alternator output requirements as indicated before. Consult the manual of your (outboard) engine for this information. Lower than specified charge current from the alternator will lead to de-activation of the Range Extender to avoid discharge of the starter battery.
- The Range Extender is not suitable for use with (outboard) engines that use a charging coil instead of an alternator: the capacity is not sufficient to charge both the starter battery and Rebelcell 24V battery.
- Mount the Range Extender in accordance with the installation guidelines in a dry and cool place with sufficient space around for ventilation and cooling. NEVER mount it on the bottom of your boat or in a location that does not remain dry as the Range Extender is not waterproof. Water damage is explicitly excluded from warranty.
- Only use the Range Extender with Rebelcell 24V batteries! Using it with a different battery can lead to irreversible damage to your equipment and battery. This damage is explicitly excluded from warranty.
- Additional cables (not included) are required to connect the Range Extender to the starter battery. For specifications please see the Installation guidelines in the user manual and consult a certified electrician if you have any questions about installation.
