PLEASE REVIEW THE BELOW INFORMATION BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR ORDER
- Only charge with recommended lithium (LiFePO4) battery charger with CC/CV charging profile and 14.6V max 50A voltage. Using a unsuitable charger can be unsafe and will automatically void warranty.
- Securely tighten the battery bolts with a socket wrench: improperly fixed terminals can be dangerous and generate heat, which can lead to irreversible damage to your outboard, 12V equipment and battery!
- Always use a suitable fuse between the battery and your equipment to protect both.
- Always use batteries of the same brand, voltage, capacity, age and charge status when connecting in series or parallel. Use cables of same length and of sufficient thickness to connect batteries together and connect tightly with a socket wrench. Fully charge batteries before connecting together. Failure to do so may void your warranty.
- Consult an electrician if you need assistance in connecting or installing your batteries.
- Your battery is ‘waterproof’ according to the IP66 standard. To avoid issues, we recommend placing the battery in a waterproof battery container and/or on a elevation to ensure that the battery is never partly or fully in the water on the bottom of your boat.
